Chase scene planned, talent prepped, locations ready, crew stoked, No vehicles. SHIT!

Luckily Land Rover came charging to our rescue, overnight providing us with their new Discovery and Range Rover.

The Land Rover air suspension is a game changer and enables a tracking vehicle suitable for a king. 60mph off road feels quick, both vehicles felt like they were flying, effortlessly negotiating the undulating terrain ahead. Naively, we attempted this in the 1990’s Ford Ranger. Launching ourselves and strapping onto the tailgate with the same level of enthusiasm experienced in the Range Rover. An unofficially undiagnosed compressed spine, one near death experience and one pair of new Calvin Klein mens underpants later and the scene was captured.

It led us to think that the Range Rover and Discovery are an amazing feat of off-road engineering. We threw everything we could at them; They are Bootneck proof.

Once the pair departed from set they were sorely missed by the crew and the cast who had the pleasure to experience them. It also led us to ask another question. Why do most villains, no matter their convictions or motives, saddle the Land Rover/ Range Rover as their loyal stead?
